I had some general comments about Onno's starchase rules he uploaded
to the archive (see, someone read them!) but I can't find the disk :-(.
Anyway the gist was that I don't think Earth or the Hinder stars should
figure at all in the game. They aren't really used for viable trade at
any point.
	You say that you don't have the map from The Company War but
this is not true! I typed in all the coordinates for the map into a
pseudo-C file on the archive months ago! Anyways I spent a few hours
on the weekend (it was only suppsed to be half an hour) doing a copy
of the Company War map my hand into Windows Painbrush. A copy of that
is on the archive as CWARMAP.GIF. While I was at it I spend another few
hours (Lesley nearly killed me) doing the map from the Compact
(CMPCTMAP.GIF). Perhaps there should be an edition of the game for
the Compact?
	Also new on the archive is MERCHANT.GIF and CARRIER.GIF. These
were scanned from the playing pieces of The Company War. They have been
heavily touched up. The carrier looks much as you would expect but the
merchant looks downright wierd. Sort of like out of The Yellow Submarine.
	I've also scanned the cover artwork from The Company War. It is
in a huge (nearly 3000x3000) JPEG. I haven't but it on the server yet.
The quality is really very good though. You can see an awful lot of detail
on the carrier and the riderships. The station is quite visible but
I'm not sure it is kosher. I'll let you know when it is on-line.
